Ipamorelin is a third-generation growth hormone secretagogue — a synthetic pentapeptide that activates the GHSR-1a (ghrelin receptor) at the pituitary to stimulate GH release. It was specifically designed to solve a problem with earlier GHRPs: they worked for GH release, but they also raised cortisol, prolactin, and ACTH. Ipamorelin was engineered to separate the GH stimulus from those off-target effects — and it succeeded. At effective research concentrations, cortisol and prolactin elevations are negligible.

Pulsatile GH — Why It Matters

Your pituitary naturally releases GH in pulses — not as a continuous stream.
