TB-500

TB-500 is the synthetic analogue of Thymosin Beta-4 — a peptide your body naturally produces to regulate actin, promote cell migration, and drive tissue repair. It's been studied for accelerated healing of tendons, ligaments, and muscle in animal models, and it's one of the most commonly stacked peptides alongside BPC-157 for comprehensive repair protocols. True North Peptides supplies TB-500 at ≥99% purity in 10mg lyophilised vials. For research use only.

What Is TB-500?

TB-500 is the synthetic version of the active fragment of Thymosin Beta-4 (Tβ4) — a protein present in virtually every cell in your body that regulates how actin filaments organise during tissue repair. When you're injured, your body releases Tβ4 to mobilise repair cells to the damage site. TB-500 replicates this fragment's core bioactive domain, making it one of the most studied systemic healing peptides available.

What Researchers Are Studying It For

Musculoskeletal repair is the primary focus — tendons, ligaments, and muscle tissue. Animal studies consistently show accelerated healing timelines and improved structural integrity at injury sites. TB-500 also promotes endothelial cell migration and angiogenesis (new blood vessel growth), which is critical for the vascular phase of healing. It also shows anti-inflammatory activity by modulating NF-κB signalling and reducing TNF-α and IL-6 — the same inflammatory markers that slow down recovery.

TB-500 vs BPC-157 — Which One?

Most experienced researchers run both. TB-500 works systemically through actin regulation and cell migration — it finds its way to damaged tissue regardless of injection site. BPC-157 drives angiogenesis through a completely different pathway (VEGFR2). Together, they cover more of the repair cascade than either does alone. That's exactly the thinking behind our KLOW blend.

Storage & Handling

Store lyophilised TB-500 at −20°C. After reconstitution with bacteriostatic water, refrigerate at 2–8°C and use within 4–6 weeks. Swirl gently — never shake.
